The Sparkfun Teensy 4.1 (w/o Ethernet) is an advanced development platform designed for high-performance applications. It is powered by an ARM Cortex-M7 processor operating at 600MHz, integrated with an NXP iMXRT1062 chip. This iteration offers significantly enhanced memory capabilities, boasting four times the flash memory of its predecessor, the Teensy 4.0, and includes provisions for additional memory expansion.

This model enhances input/output capabilities, featuring a USB host port and an SD card socket, which facilitate a wide range of connectivity and data storage options. The Teensy 4.1 is engineered to support complex projects with its extensive array of I/O pins, digital audio interfaces, and serial ports, making it suitable for sophisticated audio processing and communication tasks.

The platform is equipped with advanced features such as cryptographic acceleration, a random number generator, and a real-time clock for precise date and time management. It also includes a programmable FlexIO and a pixel processing pipeline, which are ideal for custom hardware interfacing and graphics processing. The Teensy 4.1 is designed to be breadboard-friendly, ensuring ease of use in prototyping and development environments.
