Lemvos DockMaster Shock Absorbing Pole
Model: DM10-N-S-0000
The Lemvos DockMaster system is designed for the automated docking and charging of USVs (Unmanned Surface Vessels) and other robotic systems. It enables these systems to dock and recharge without requiring human intervention for plugging in chargers or mechanically securing the vessel or robot.
The DockMaster shock absorbing pole is well suited to smaller vessels, up to ~6m in length in length, with medium docking approach speeds. The vessel needs to be constrained on the sides, so that the yaw (horizontal rotation around the pole) does not exceed 7 degrees.
The DockMaster Pole connects to the DockMaster Latch and charger, which are sold separately.
Key features include:
•Charging capacity: Supports charging currents from 0–50 A and voltages from 0–75 V, with a power output of 3 kW (at 60 V, 50 A).
•Mounting: The pole is typically mounted on a dock, above the waterline. The DockMaster System can secure the vessel against forces up to 5000 N.
•Power requirements: Latch (sold separately) Requires a 12–30 VDC power supply from the vessel or vehicle. A digital signal is used to initiate release. The charger and charger control circuit require a 230V, 16A supply
•Docking flexibility: Accommodates 560 mm of vertical movement, ±20° roll, and ±10° pitch.
•Land-based docking: When used for ground robots, the system can be mounted horizontally, allowing for 560 mm of horizontal docking tolerance.
The DockMaster system can be supplied with or without an integrated charger, depending on application needs.
Note: Due to legal limitations, the maximum operating voltage for the DockMaster Latch and Pole is 75 VDC within the EU. For installations outside the EU, please consult local electrical regulations.
