The BitCAR Autonomous Line Following & Obstacle Avoiding Car for micro:bit w/ Course is a do-it-yourself robot specifically designed for STEM education. With its easy assembly, user-friendly coding, and enjoyable playability, this robot car offers an engaging learning experience for students and enthusiasts alike.
The car is powered by two high-quality metal gear motors that drive the wheels, ensuring smooth and precise movement. Its main electronics board features an integrated buzzer, which can be used for music or audio signals, enhancing the interactive experience. Additionally, the board is equipped with two line-following sensors that enable the car to track lines accurately.
The four addressable LEDs located on the bottom of the car serve multiple purposes, such as indicators, highlights, or decorative elements. Furthermore, the car comes with Grove connectors, allowing for the integration of various add-ons, such as ultrasonic sensors, temperature sensors, light sensors, speech recognizers, or other displays. These connectors provide endless possibilities for customization and experimentation.
All features of the BitCar can be effortlessly controlled using the Microsoft MakeCode editor, a user-friendly platform that simplifies the coding process.
