The Benewake Ultra-High-Frequency Lightweight UAV LiDAR TFA300-L is an ultra-lightweight, high-frequency LiDAR sensor tailored for demanding UAV applications where every gram counts. As the housing-free version of the TFA300 series, it delivers cutting-edge performance in a package weighing just 10.5 grams, making it ideal for EO/IR gimbals, SAR (search and rescue) drones, and ultra-high-speed FPV racing drones.

Despite its minimal size, comparable to a pair of stacked dice, the TFA300-L packs serious capabilities. It operates at a default frequency range of 1–1,000 Hz, which can be pushed to 10,000 Hz in ultra-high-frequency mode. This allows for real-time distance updates every 3.4 cm, enabling precise focal adjustment, altitude stability, and lightning-fast obstacle avoidance—even at speeds approaching Mach 1.

The TFA300-L is engineered for direct integration into UAV flight control systems, utilizing JST GH connectors and a CAN interface to support next-gen architectures. It offers seamless plug-and-play compatibility with mainstream controllers via an SDK built on the DroneCAN protocol, drastically reducing development and integration time.

Built for reliability in extreme environments, the TFA300-L handles harsh outdoor conditions—from heavy rain and fog to intense 100 KLux sunlight—with minimal false detections, outperforming many conventional LiDAR systems. This advanced sensing technology has already contributed to over 400,000 safe drone deliveries worldwide.
