The 1.75 mm HIPS Filament - White - 500g is an easy-to-print, high-impact polystyrene filament with multifunctional properties. It is an excellent support material when used in combination with ABS, as it dissolves in D-Limonene and ABS remains unaffected. It is highly suitable for detailed prints and large objects alike, as it shows very limited warping. Additionally, HIPS is very light and durable, has good interlayer bonding, can be glued easily and the colours result in a smooth, matte surface of the 3D printed objects. For these reasons, high-impact polystyrene is widely used in model building.
